Dear BCS Community,

We understand that as schools announce longer and longer closings, students and caregivers alike are seeking creativity and escape. Baltimore Center Stage remains committed to nurturing young people with the tools to unlock the power of storytelling, so we are staying #OpenForStorytelling with BCS Camp at Home.

First up in the BCS Camp at Home series is Stories Make the World, an interactive at-home storytelling curriculum specially designed for young storytellers in 1st-6th grades. Stories Make the World features eight weeks of exploration and imagination, culminating in the creation of a story. The activities are simple to follow and easily shareable, and we hope they inspire you to share your own memories and stories as you support your young storyteller in crafting theirs.

Or you can join the BCS Camp at Home group on Facebook, where you can download each chapter and join a virtual camp community!

Each week, we’ll share a new chapter, and each week you will find interactive activities to shape this experience with your storyteller. At the end of each week, we encourage you to share your work! Use our hash tag #BCSCampAtHome and take pictures, video, or audio clips of all the amazing things you are creating. Or, feel free to email us at storytelling@centerstage.org to share all the creative stories you have imagined.
